Youth Mass Choir
The Youth Mass Choir is comprised of gifted young people from ages 5 through 17 who enthusiastically and skillfully deliver Gospel Music performances with the mindset to uplift others through the ministry of song.
Praise and Worship Team
The praise and worship team leads the congregation in song during weekly services and gatherings. Our purpose is to set the atmosphere of worship, to help prepare the hearts and minds of the congregation to hear Gods word.
Asiel Liturgical Dance Ministry
The Asiel Liturgical Dance Ministry ‘s primary function/goal is to spiritually and creatively minister to people through the art of dance and movement.
Adult Ushers
The Ushers often serve as the first impression of the worship service; therefore, it is important that we display a welcoming spirit. We are the doorkeepers and are always ready to assist our guests and members with love.
Youth Ushers
The Youth Usher’s ministry serves as the gatekeepers to convey the first phase of ushering in the Holy Spirit by cheerfully greeting those assembling for Worship. The Youth Usher ministry offers young people a chance to serve and to learn the duties of the Senior Ushers.
New Members Intake
To help the Office staff manage and maintain the Breeze database of church Visitors, Members and Friends.To schedule and coordinate baptism for membership. To help the church welcome, new members into the main stream congregation. To provide congregational care, i.e., bereavement letters, welcome letters, and communicate information to new members and visitors.
Baptism
Upon request for baptism, contact and schedule candidate for baptism. Forward candidate’s information; name and desire date to leadership a week before baptism date. Instruct candidate of the process, i.e., time to be at church, what to wear, and and address any concerns they may have.
Day of baptism present the candidate to Deacon prayer team and then to pastoral staff for prayer. After baptism direct the candidate to changing room, instruct to join the congregation.
Greeters
The Greeters are the first friendly face that friends and guests see when they enter Salt & Light for worship and special events. The greeters have the gift of hospitality and not only make folks feel welcome but also happy to answer any questions.
Bethesda’s Pool
The Bethesda Pool at Salt and Light is an emotional health and mental wholeness ministry with the mission to build resilience and provide Spiritual support for a diverse community of individuals and families of all ages. Bethesda Pool delivers spiritually-integrated services through our pastoral and ministerial staff, as well as clinical and counseling referral services through a wide range of partnering organizations and counselors across the Philadelphia region
Van Team
To provide opportunities for individuals with limited access to transportation to worship Christ.
Sunday School
Vacation Bible School
Vacation bible school is a summer program, focused on teaching all ages in a fun, exciting and engaging way about the Love of Christ, offering Jesus love of Salvation to all.
Saturday Enrichment Program (SEP)
The Saturday Enrichment Program takes pride in developing the whole child for all K-12 scholars. We provide academic support and enrichment; social and emotional and life skill lessons; and bible lessons to help them develop a personal relationship with Jesus.
Youth and Young Adult Ministry
The Youth and Young Adults Ministry has the goal of walking alongside youth (ages 5-18) and young adults (ages 19-35) as they grow in their relationship with God. The ministries meet regularly to empower spiritual maturity through Bible study, fellowship, and service. Opportunities for youth to grow include the Saturday Enrichment Program, Vacation Bible School, serving as Youth ushers, Junior Deacons, and Junior Stewards.
Women’s Ministry
The Ruth & Esther Sisterhood of Salt & Light is a community of women devoted to Christ and engaging women in their various stages of Christian faith through study, service, and friendship. Our commitment is to grow in fellowship, faith, and wholeness of mind, body, and spirit. We desire to encourage, empower, edify, and equip women to be their best self and in service to Christ, church and the community with compassion, care and love always being the way forward.

Saved By Grace (Recovery)
Our primary goal is to help individuals from any background of life to stay on the road to recovery and ultimately become a productive example citizen in today’s society. This goal can be achieved by a holistic approach in teaching, developing, and mentoring people in the areas of mental, physical and financial principles to live. Our mission is to be an oasis in the desert and a haven for persons who have made a decision to seek help for substance abuse. Our only requirement for admission is a desire to get better.
Food Ministry
We serve the community at large by meeting whatever need is presented to us. Weekly, we provide food and toiletry items for anyone who has a need. Ministry was created as a way to help ease the community’s burden of being able to obtain basic items to sustain daily.

Clothing Ministry
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me..

Salt & Light Clothing Ministry strives to help and improve the lives of the most vulnerable members in our community by providing support and ample services like clothing, hats, coats, gloves etc. and many other resources to help maintain their homes and families.
